Chavs rule all when it comes to tasteless modifications. American teens still have a lot to learn.

Indeed, I'm back in my home town from uni for easter and it's fart can and cut springs heaven. The fast and furious body kits and neon fad is still going strong, as is the stance movement. This gives us some of the most hilariously tasteless vehicles in the world.

It's not so bad here (Toronto), although you occasionally see some horribly stanced car that you cringe at. Nothing like the pictured Renault.

That renault is representative of like 20% of all the cars on the road here no joke. The funniest I've seen is probably the guy who lives across the street from my gf, he cut the springs on his old 3 series and wrapped it in primer grey vinyl to cover the huge amounts of rust. I don't know what broke but the car hasn't moved in something like 8 months now, I have to assume he smacked the oil pan on a speed bump.

I can only imagine this makes buying used cars a pain in the ass.

Which, actually, makes me wonder about this heavily modified Honda Accord I occasionally see. The great thing is that the driver is a man in his 50s. If he modded the car, that's a whole different, hilarious story (because it has a full body kit, stickers everywhere and a fart can), but I bet he bought it because it was a reliable car with a heavily discounted price due to the mods. And I have a feeling that in ten years, you'll see those cars in the hands of older people who can't afford an unmolested example.

I regularly see an elderly man in a flat cap driving around in a riced out corsa, with bodykit, cut springs and such. It's pretty common here for people to buy a pre-modified car even if they have no interest in such things.
